Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 800 has 2 really decent sized passive radiators on the back, behind a metal speaker grill. It has a little bigger box due to the lack of the gimmicky cup holders. The storage spot in the back of the 850 can not fit larger phones. The bottle opener is another gimmick on the 850. I mean they might be waterproof. I still don't want people opening bottles with it. Plus you can buy bottle openers that can be added to the 800 if you really need one. I have heard the 850 before and it is decent sounding. I prefer the 800 for my tastes. These speakers claim 420 watts PEAK power. At least for the 800 RMS witch is the stuff I prefer to know: 105 watts per channel for a total of 210 watts RMS.
