“Does this altar the photos at all? As in- does it crop the photos at all?”

• If you have full screen on when trying to show Portrait photos then the unit may crop the tops and bottoms and stretch the photo. So if you have a mix of portrait and landscape set the full screen to off or choose something different in display ratio.
