“We bought this for Christmas and trying to set it up. Is there a way to display the weather as the home screen with the clock? Or is it setup that you must click each individual app to get the information?”

Not flexible enough. It forgets my location most of the time, so I can't open the weather and leave it on. Also, there is a screen time out you have to try and disable.
