QuestionCan I receive local radio stations through the internet on this radio? Reception is bad.

- Answer Can only get radio stations if they are listed with an app that you have downloaded to the device. Some local stations are available thru one of the apps but usually the ones in larger cities. I can't get my local radio stations but I can get ones from some nearby cities.

QuestionIs there an Ethernet port in case the Wi-Fi if not strong enough I could just plug it in with that cable?

- Answer No, there is no ethernet port for hard wiring. There is a usb port , an earphone jack and the power jack only. I do not have mine next to the router and it is picking up my wi-fi signal without any issues. Although all situations are different.

QuestionI want to change the weather of the city to be displayed. I touch the city and the weather icon in the center of the screen and type in the city name and press OK. no matter what city I put in it says no city found.

QuestionHow do you open a google app you downloaded? Radio Player Canada for instance; I downloaded it but it isn't included with their short cuts for their chosen apps. If I swipe up and open a web page , it will ask to open, is there an easier way?

- Answer You and I both fell for the marketing on the box. You cannot install another streaming station unless it is part of the package of streaming services approved by the manufacturer. You have to go back to the google search each time and find the station and click on the station's icon. You CANNOT select a station from a google search and create an icon for future use. The product is a piece of garbage and is unreliable at best. I have one and it seems to work occasionally.

QuestionI have WiFi and I plan on using pandora radio app, and I wanted to use this outside of my home (example like while I do yard work or going somewhere that doesn’t have WiFi) would I still have connection to pandora or do the apps only work with WiFi ?

- Answer The radio is Wi-Fi only, as far as I know. On a cell phone you can download Pandora and that would work wherever you are. The radio though has no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct.

QuestionI want to be able to block any apps like twitter, instagram etc. Dont want the kids to use anything but music streaming. Are there parental controls for that?

- Answer I looked back through the manual and did not see anything about parental settings at all. I looked under the setting menu and I find nothing to suggest that it does.

- Answer No connection to a phone is required. As long as you have wifi and it can connect to it, you are all set. Mine wasn't able to maintian a reliable connection to my wifi, unlike the grace digital Mondo I had for years before this one...

- Answer Not sure about BBC, but it would seem that would be available. I did want to let you know that Spotify and Pandora, Iheart Radio, and 1,000s more are available. I bought my second one as a gift. I'm most impressed with the sound. Love it.

- Answer This is an internet streaming device. It comes with SiriusXM and SiriusXMCanada. I tried both and could not get it to work. Tested my xm account on my phone ( also an android device) and it works there. There's no functions to upgrade the apps on this radio. Useless. I'll be returning mine.

- Answer If is what I think it is, the internet version of a terrestrial station with the same call letters, then yes. It is available on the internet via radios such as the Aluratek. This is exactly what makes an internet radio such a treat. You can find many stations that were once only a part of your past and if you so choose, you can add them to the present. Your present. Memories are out there for the listening. Have fun!

- Answer This radio does not play MP3s, I do not really like this radio and when I am listening to a station, it will cut in and out, when the radios not on sale it is $79, definitely not worth $79 or even 59, it’s only worth about $29 if that. If I had to do it again I would buy another different radio.

- Answer There is a sleep option that will display a clock. THe background is black and the clock number white. The clock size, digital display, is about 2 inches by 3/4 of an inch
