Can only get radio stations if they are listed with an app that you have downloaded to the device. Some local stations are available thru one of the apps but usually the ones in larger cities. I can't get my local radio stations but I can get ones from some nearby cities.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes through a radio app like iheart
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely!!! You do need Wi-Fi - then you just plug the radio into an outlet. You can choose your station and enjoy! I am sooooo pleased with my purchase of the Aluratek Internet Radio as there is NO reception in my building with a regular radio!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No terrestrial FM programming is built in. Meaning it's internet only. Their might be an APP but this radio doesn't have much memory.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just bought an Aluratek after getting tired of my Grace Digital Mondo losing wi-fi connection all the time and had to do research to play radio stations. This model supports a select number of Android music apps so you cannot just go to Google Play and install apps supporting its Android operating system (not the latest version). All the apps supported are types of music services not for radio stations with their own network (including iHeart since 2019) and you have to buy some subscription--Except one TuneIn. Setup a free account at TuneIn.com and then download and install on your Aluratek Internet Radio. It's easier to setup all your local radio stations with your online account with a PC browser, then login your Aluratek Internet Radio and all your stations will be there to play just like a plain old radio.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Remember just add a couple apps that you use and your radio will play seamlessly. If you bog it down with too many apps there is not enough memory and your radio will buffer and stop. I stream mine all day without a problem and Tune In is another great radio app to listen to local stations.
