• A:Answer I have come across this issue on other microwaves as well. There is a chip on the control board that controls the dimming function of the light under the microwave. When the lamp shorts out, it can take out the chip. This is only for the lamp under the microwave.

• A:Answer It's louder than others I've heard but it has 2 speeds. The lower speed is much quieter. But the high speed is better than a forced air furnace blower. I vented mine through the wall and into the attached garage (Condo). The fan really pulls any smoke or odors up through the aluminum filter and out into the garage. I love this new Amana. Simple key pad, sturdy, cooks faster than my counter-top microwave of the same wattage, and a super price! I also bought an Amana Gas Range to match. Open box. Saved $114 because the manuals were missing.

• A:Answer I have a 30" exact opening with cement wall on the left, although width is 30" is the width it is NOT the operating width (which includes the swing of the door). I cannot find these specs, odd because there are i ternal door swings youd think the customer would be equally intereseted in operating swing as they are installation swing. :/

Q: QuestionI understand the width is 30”. The space between my cabinets is 30 1/8” but the cabinet face creates a slightly narrower opening at 29 7/8”, at a depth of about 11 3/4”. Does the front of the microwave measure a true 30”? If so, this may not work.

• A:Answer Hi Marsha, If you have the small ring that the glass plate sits on (it has three little wheels on it) make sure that is in position. If it is in position and the glass turntable still wobbles then that is because the drive unit is sticking out too far. Had this happen on another unit and it was a manufacturing error. Blessings,
