Charles, this model Microwave required 30" from the bottom of the cabinet above to the to of the Range top below. More information can be found on page 3 of the Installation Instructions: https://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/assets/pdfs/literature/Installation%20Instructions%20-%20W10823839.pdf.
