It’s deeper so sticks out more than my previous microwave. It was difficult to install as it didn’t fit in the same holes as the previous microwave and the template was not accurate. I like how there is no brand name on front and I like that there is no handle, just a push area to open.

The install was fast and easy using the template which was included... From unwrapping to using the microwave was 30 minutes.. There are plenty of functions programmed for different foods and snacks... The the price was great...

Q: QuestionHow loud is the fan?

- A:Answer It's louder than others I've heard but it has 2 speeds. The lower speed is much quieter. But the high speed is better than a forced air furnace blower. I vented mine through the wall and into the attached garage (Condo). The fan really pulls any smoke or odors up through the aluminum filter and out into the garage. I love this new Amana. Simple key pad, sturdy, cooks faster than my counter-top microwave of the same wattage, and a super price! I also bought an Amana Gas Range to match. Open box. Saved $114 because the manuals were missing.

Q: QuestionThe light bulb blew out we put new in and it won't work. He did not unplug when doing could that be the reason should we try new bulb

- A:Answer I have come across this issue on other microwaves as well. There is a chip on the control board that controls the dimming function of the light under the microwave. When the lamp shorts out, it can take out the chip. This is only for the lamp under the microwave.
