    • Answer Hi Fred,With smoothtop ranges and cooktops we recommend certain material and cookware size for best cooking performance. We have found that stainless or aluminum cookware, without copper clad bottoms or cores, work best. Cast iron and or enamel (glassware) cookware can be used, although they may not perform as well.An important factor when selecting the proper cookware for a smoothtop is that the bottom of the pan be completely flat. It should have no dents or ridges. If the pan is not completely flat, it will not be in total contact with the burner and may lead to inconsistent cooking results. If the pan has small channels from the factory, but is otherwise flat, it can be used.An important factor when selecting the proper cookware for a smoothtop is that the bottom of the pan be completely flat.   • QuestionCan I use the oven drawrer for storage even if the oven is on? I mean does it get heated too if the oven portion is on. Do I need to take pots out from the drawer when oven is on?

    • Answer Hi Qura the storage drawer in the AER6303MFS sure can be used during cooking sessions with the oven. However, anything you store will need to be heat resistant as the area can become quite warm due to the heat from the oven operation, if you need to remove something, be safe and use a pot holder and you should not have any problems!   • QuestionIm new to this Electric range .Do you need special pots and pans for the cook top. What is the best type of cleaner to use. Is bottom drawer a storage or food to keep warm,

    • Answer Hello Mimigrinch, Any flat bottomed cookware will work (no grooves or raised areas on the bottom that do not touch the surface); however, we have found that glass cookware is the least efficient, cast iron contributes most toward deterioration of the cooktop over time, copper or aluminum bottomed more likely to easily scratch the cooktop, and stainless steel bottom cookware is the most efficient and least likely to cause damage or scratch. Care must be taken with any cookware not to slide the items being used across the surface of the glass. Also, the most efficient operation is with the use of flat cookware not overlapping the heating element by more than one inch (an 8" pot will overlap a 6" element by one inch, a 10" pot on the 8" element will overlap one inch, etc.). Please see page for 4 of the Owner's Manual for cleaning bit.ly/3NNyncA. The bottom drawer on this model is for storage. We hope this helps.
