• It does have an iOS app and connects via Bluetooth, replacement bands yes. And it has a short cable that connects magnetically to the device

• it will work with an iPhone 5 if it is running iOS 10.0 and above ; we unfortunately don't sell the bands separately ; it uses a magnetic USB charging cable
