- Answer yes you can read text message on the Amazfit Band 5 , go to the Zepp App --> Profile --> Amazfit Band 5 --> More --> Turn on Incoming SMS

- Answer Step Counts go back to 0 on the next day , You don't need to pause as the watch can tell when your driving or not moving and maintains accuracy in this manner

- Answer There is NOT an ECG feature on this watch. It only measures HR. This was an email response from the company: "Within our current global version of watch/band products including Amazfit Band 5, there is no such model that supports ECG function. So you would not see any related data on the band or in the app."

- Answer I also had similar problems it measures only 3 to 4 hours after 1 am. Disabling Breath monitoring (beta) made a difference and it started measuring full sleep. Yesterday I enabled breath monitoring again it starts measuring 3 to 4 hours only. I have disabled again and I will check today. I purchased the watch 10 days before. First 2 days with default settings it was working fine, then I enabled some more settings like breath monitoring etc, which started this problem. Customer care could identify, they simply wanted my watch for service. However after resetting and leaving it in default mode it started working. You may try that.
