- Answer It works with 5G, but if you have it linked/paired with Amazon Echo or Alexa devices using wi-fi, then they all need to be on the same network and band. In other words, if you have at least 1 2.4ghz device connected or paired with the TV using wi-fi (not bluetooth) then you should use 2.4ghz (or upgrade the slower device). This will avoid any related issue.

- Answer Hi Flscotsman! The Fire TV Omni Series does have built in Wi-Fi for wireless internet connectivity. You will still need to plug in the power supply to an outlet, and any devices that you would like to connect via HDMI. Thanks for your question, have a great day!
