Hello, Unfortunately, there is not a port for a micro SD card. You can plug the Kindle into your computer and back up your books on your computer and free up space on the device. You can also just keep your books in the cloud versus downloading them all. Books do not take up a lot of room though, so you will get a lot of books for 4G of space. Hope that helps.
