• The FireStick and echo speaker serve different purposes. The FS converts your tv into a smart tv, accessing popular apps like netflix, amazon prime, hulu, ...etc. media is seen/heard through your tv. The amazon echo is a standalone which access several audio apps, amazon music, xmsirrius radio, plus alexa info ("alexa...what is the temperature.?") Obviously no visual media is accessed.
