• This is all you need to actually talk to device and get it to respond and connect to internet. If you want to control lights then you will need some smart home devices and probably a hub.

• no..it doesn't recognize football games or scores or when you ask it when something is coming on TV, it doesn't know that either..I thought it pulled from the internet so it should know these answers..

• An Amazon Echo is best used complimentary to an Amazon Prime membership. Alexa is still helpful without, but I’d say the membership enhances the product.

• Yes, This device is all inclusive for basic Alexa functions. You will need to connect it to Wifi. If you want to control other devices, you will need to purchase those separately.
