QuestionI literally only need this for my parents to communicate and see my toddler. They are not tech savvy (and neither am I) so easier is better. Does this device allow them to connect with me on my iPhone? Or would I need a similar device to communicate?

- Answer You will need to purchase an Echo device too and download the app on your phone or tablet. That way you can talk to them anytime and anywhere. My 82 year old parents love it.

- Answer I am assuming your ipad will work because I have used the Alexa App in my phone to call the Show and it worked. So I am assuming any device that has the app and contacts loaded it will then ring to the show. I don't know how it works with two shows under one account. That is beyond my experience.

QuestionI was thinking of buying two of these are they returnable up to Jan 12th, I just wanted to make sure since they are gifts for two different people and they will need to be activated. I just wanted to make sure since the return policy isn't really clear.

- Answer Per the holiday extended return policy, it looks like they would have until 1/12/19 to make the return. I would say give a call to local store just to be sure.

- Answer You do not have to purchase a second Amazon Show. You will be able to call , leave message and drop in on the Amazon Show from your IPad via Amazon Alexa app. However, I do not think you can drop in from the Amazon Show to the iPad. Messaging and voice call will work from the Amazon Show to the IPad. Hope this helps.

- Answer I do not think so but why don’t you open your email from using a built in Silk browser or Firefox browser on the Amazon Show. Go to setting and choose your browsers from the Amazon Show.

- Answer In order to see each other your family member must have a similar device. Alexa will take your contacts from your phone, and then you can just say: Alexa call ///. The device works using wifi not telephone lines

- Answer FaceTime is supported by Apple devices only. You should check it out because if I am not mistaken then Amazon Show does support Skype call lately.

- Answer I'm not sure what you're asking, but it sounds like you're asking if this device shows the time. Yes, it normally shows the time on the screen; it's not always there (like when displaying lyrics, shopping, watching a video, etc.), but the time is usually displayed when the device is idle.
