• yes. i have 2 friends and many relative with the device. if your daughter does not have one she will only be able to make audio calls. ALEXA require 2 or more devices to make video calls.

• Yes, you can make face calls from device to device. You would need to set them up with their own Alexa App or set up their echo with your own account.
