• You have to setup Ring thru the app first then you can add it as an Alexa skill. Alexa will alert you when someone rings the door and you can tell her to show you the front / back door or answer it. I setup both of our Ring doorbells on my phone but my wife does not have it on her iPhone and didn’t want the app installed. It still works for her on Alexa when I’m not at home.

• I appreciate answer. I installed ring already, then installed Alexa app & added the device to Alexa. Afterwards, I uninstalled Alexa app because I'm limited on space from cell. Now, I can ask Alexa Echo Show 5 to answer my front door.
