A:AnswerHi There,
Were you looking to utilize it for Bluetooth capabilities? If so, then yes. If you were looking for specific content such as audible books, or browser streaming, there is no need to connect any additional device as the Show 5 will access your Audible account, and you can also utilize the built in browser for web viewing. Have a great day!
A:AnswerHello, yes it does. Simply enable the Ring Skill in the Alexa App and link your Alexa and Ring accounts to get started. To see a list things to ask Alexa, I suggest exploring the Ring skill within the Alexa app.
A:AnswerYou have to setup Ring thru the app first then you can add it as an Alexa skill. Alexa will alert you when someone rings the door and you can tell her to show you the front / back door or answer it.
I setup both of our Ring doorbells on my phone but my wife does not have it on her iPhone and didn’t want the app installed. It still works for her on Alexa when I’m not at home.
A:AnswerI am currently using a hotspot in my home and my smart devices are working fine through it. Maybe this little gadget will also? I really can't think of a reason it wouldn't.
A:AnswerBelieve it or not, I’m sixty five, and my uncle just got one for his eighty birthday, initially he moaned and growned about the technology, but before the weekend was over the two of them were the best of friends. It lead me to get three of them for different rooms. To me it’s like having a smart phone, but much more easier to use.
A:AnswerI have the Ring doorbell through Vivint. I was able to view my front door with the Echo Show. You just have to make sure you use the correct name for your doorbell camera.
A:AnswerHi Chris! The main difference between the 1st and 2nd Gen Echo Show 5's is the camera quality. The 2nd gen now comes with a 2MP camera, whereas the 1st gen came with a 1MP camera. Thanks for your question, have a fantastic day!
A:AnswerHello MBJS, you want to know if Canary, Wyze and YiHome cameras will work with Amazon Echo Show 5. You are able to enable the Canary, Wyze and YiHome skills from your Alexa app under Skills and Games. Hope this has answered your question. Have an amazing day!
A:AnswerYou can watch Netflix. I am not sure if you can watch YouTube and Disney. But Hulu and Netflix you can for sure. I seem to remember trying to watch YouTube before on it and it doesn't allow it. It uses Amazon music by default. You can sync a device playing YouTube and use the echo as a speaker though. Just wouldn't be able to watch the videos.
