Yes it will work with Amazon cube

Hi Rich, The Echo Sub needs to be paired with another Echo device, such as the Studio, Echo, or Echo Plus. The cube does have sound that comes out of it, but it is not an Echo device, therefor can not be the source of the main sound paired w/ the Sub. You can pair the Sub and an Echo to the cube and then the sound from what is playing on from the Cube could be played through that "home theater" set up. I hope this info helps. Have a great day.

You must have an Echo Studio connected first. Then connect the subwoofer to the Studio.

It will work if you have an Echo Studio connected to your Fire Cube.
