Hi PapaK! The Echo Sub should work just fine in a Home Theater setup along with your 4th Gen Echo speakers with a Fire Stick 4K Max, and you can even set it up via the Fire TV Stick 4K Max itself! To set things up: Go to Settings on your Fire TV Stick 4K Max. Select Display & Sounds. Choose Home Theater. Select on Create Home Theater. Select Begin Setup. Select up to two compatible Echo devices to be your speakers, and you can also add an optional Echo Sub. Note: Devices in your speaker group should be in the same room as your TV and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Select Next. Confirm the placement of the speakers.
