Q: QuestionI have an older Kindle Fire HD that is about to wear out on me (I use it all the time when I travel) and am needing to replace it and upgrade. What is the advantage to the "plus" model versus the regular Fire HD 8 ? What do you get extra with the "plus" ?

• A:Answer Hello, Sharon! You could check with your local Best Buy to see if they sell it without special offers, but otherwise, you can turn them off through you Amazon account. Here are the steps: 1. Sign in to your Amazon account, and go to Manage Your Content and Devices > Devices. 2. Select the Kindle or Fire device from which you wish to remove Special Offers. .. 3. Look for a line that says Special Offers / Offers and Ads. ...4. Click the Edit link next to Subscribed, and follow the instructions to unsubscribe. Have a great day!

• A:Answer Hello Kate, yes your Kindle Library is stored in the cloud so upon purchasing your new device, simply sign into your existing Amazon account when asked to register your new device and you'll be able to sync your existing content, while not automatic, you'll be able to choose what content is downloaded to the new device. • A:Answer Hi Billy, If you photos were backed up then you will be able to redownload them on the new tablet. If there was a memory card, double check that they were not automatically stored there as well. When you set up the new tablet, there will be an option to restore from a backup. Have a great day!

It would honestly depend on the type of games you are looking to play but should handle them just fine. There is also a new HD 8 PRO version that was recently release that is double the RAM as well.
