A:AnswerOnly if you make the the mistake of giving them your password like I did.
You can lock the screens or app store through the security the Fire guides you during the set up.
You can chat with Amazon and they can guide you if you have problems.
A:AnswerThis happened to my daughters one tablet.
First check and see if the backlighting has been turned down. Daughter did that to the point it was completely black. If cant figure it out Geek Squad will surely help with that and prolly not even charge you for it.
If it isn't the backlighting issue it may be defective and that is what happened to my other daughters tablet. She was playing it and then screen just went blank. Hopefully you bought the Geek Squad coverage and they will just switch it out for a brand new one at the store pending they have the color your daughter had in stock may have to have it ordered and shipped or picked up at the store in 2-3 days. You WILL HAVE to re-purchase the Geek Squad protection for the replacement tablet. It doesn't carry over to the next tablet even if the defective is beyond customers control (like the screen going out of no where). Still better than having to re-purchase the tablet at $99-$129.99.
There is also an Amazon limited warranty you can use that came with the tablet but I think Best Buy will tell you to contact Amazon for that and you would have to send it in to them for repair/replacement tends to take a little longer but would save your Geek Squad Protection (if purchased at time of sale).
Hope this helps
A:AnswerAmazon will pay for the shipping to replace the damaged Kindle. It does not matter if you are a Prime member. Amazon guarantees the kindles, no questions asked during the first 2 years.
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerNot really. You can load it, Google it. But the this you download are not available in the children profile, just the one you download it from.
A:AnswerThe tablet is able to make purchases via the app. You can require a pin for purchases, or set up a separate account for the kids and lock the main one with a pin to prevent purchases.
A:AnswerTypically yes, but of course it depends on the application you’re trying to use. Though, generally most tablets now are compatible with most video chat applications.
