“Can my kid use this on the go or does it have to be used only where there is wifi”

• To piggyback on Amazon's reply, this thing REALLY NEEDS WiFi to be fun/usable for much at all. Of course, you can watch videos that you've downloaded to the device; but the content (including games) is severely limited if you are not connected to WiFi. (And many profile & other settings functions need WiFi as well.)

• Hello Kkay! This device definitely does benefit from a Wi-Fi connection for any streaming services, content, or games to be used but can also be used offline for anything that can be downloaded directly to the device. Thanks so much for your question and I hope you have a terrific day!
