• There are only fees when you purchase Amazon Prime, movies, or shows.

• No, there are no monthly fees for the box alone. If you are already an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can watch whatever they have on Prime for free or go al la cart. There are apps you can install for free, such as particular broadcast channels like ABC, FOX, NBC, CW, etc and watch all that for free. There is Netflix, Hulu, CBS All Access, HBO, etc all avail for subscription if you like.
