I can't say for sure but I purchased the AirPlay/DLNA Receiver (PRO) app and I can mirror my macbook pro to my tv and use the tv as a separate display. If you press the home button on the remote there is an option to mirror, I would assume that works for amazon products like the Kindle, it did not work for apple products.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, here are the directions: From your Fire tablet, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Settings. Tap Display & Sounds, and then tap Display Mirroring. Your Fire tablet searches for compatible devices within range. Tap the name of your TV or media streaming device. This initial connection may take up to 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, your device's screen should appear on your TV. To stop displaying the screen, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Stop Mirroring.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes. you should be able to by just holding the HOME button on the controller (looks like a little house) until you get a menu that pops up (will have options to set the firestick tv to "sleep" or to 'mirror". select this option, and then go to your Kindle and "scan" for devices - you should be able to spot the firestick's name on your scan list.
