Can I transfer contacts from fire TV cube to another cube

They assured me there was no way to back up a firestick. They informed me that I can back up the fire cube and restore it. But I can't back up the fire stick. So... Do you know how to back up the firestick?

During the setup process of the new Fire TV Cube, you will be given the opportunity to restore your device from a previous backup which would reset up and redownload your app content, though you will need to log back in to your apps upon first time launching them again.
