No unfortunately it does not have any more internal storage. It does have 512mb more ram though and a better CPU and is considerably faster than the older firestick 4k You can add storage to a firestick with a USB dongle, you can fine them on Amazon Search: 2 in 1 Powered Micro USB to USB OTG Adapter
