• As long as you.have internet, maybe it might work if the laptop has a hdmi slot.

• The fire stick uses a hdmi port which is available mostly on televisions with HDMI ports or Monitors with HDMI ports that can load it. I do not think a laptop will be able to load the content from the stick.

• If you have a laptop and wifi, you can access many of the services provided by the stick--Netflix, Hulu, Anazon Instant Video, etc. I'm not sure the other features would work on a laptop.
