“Would the firestick work with optimum wifi ?”

• Yes, but it doesn’t do a great job of keeping a sound connection with Optimum Wifi Hotspots. It would work best if connected through your home optimum wifi connection provided through a wifi capable modem. The disconnections are constant. Eventually it would allow connection again after siting and waiting a while and then disconnects again. I’ve included a photo below of my network settings and status.

• The Fire TV stick will pick up all 2.4ghz and 5ghz WiFi signals. So, yes.
