Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if you purchase an additional app. I bought and installed an app called ViMu for $1.50 which enabled me to stream music, pictures and video from my NAS servers to the Fire TV Stick. I get flawless playback and the stick supports many codecs including FLAC (many devices don't). There are also various other device specific apps available (i.e. Apple, Android, etc.) but I haven't had any experience with those.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! But it needs an app installed. Use Plex easily (inexpensive purchase on the Fire TV & Fire TV Stick). Just install the free server (or the paid server) on your PC and install the app on the Fire TV Stick and you're good to go. It'll play any content you have on your PC. You can also side-load apps to the Stick and the Fire TV. You can install XBMC if you want, and it works really well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can do this easily with the Plex App. This does not require you to send things from the phone and you can control it directly from the Fire Stick. Install the Plex program on your computer that houses your videos. Install the Plex App on the Fire TV/Stick and it will connect to your computer and stream everything directly.
