• download all the Amazon apps in Apple. the remote works fine. I watch and listen to everything available with no problems. Amazon music app, fire tv remote app, Amazon video app all work perfect on iOS

• IOS remote came out this week.. but you don't need it to use it. It does not require a phone to use it like the chromecast.

• The remote app has recently came out you should check it's nice to use especially when typing something you can just use your phone as a keyboard
