The Amazon Fire TV Stick has 2 different versions, One without remote voice command and one with but at a higher price.

if you get the stick with the "Voice remote" then yes you can search titles by talking into the remote.

You can buy a remote with voice command, but I believe there are apps the can make that possible through your smartphone.

Yes you can but you need to buy a different remote like the one that comes on the regular amazon fire tv or with the app for iPhone or android

The Fire TV stick's remote does not have a voice input. You can, however, use a smart device(such as a smartphone or tablet) to control and speak into, with the Fire TV App. Just search for the "Amazon Fire TV" App in the App store.

Use the Amazon fire stick app to be able to talk to the fire stick. It works pretty well.

You can only talk to the stick with the smartphone application.
