Yes you can use Sunday ticket. It automatically comes as an app you can download. If its not there use the voice remote and ask for it and download and sign in.

Like you I wanted to buy the fire stick for a particular purpose, the app showed it was compatible so I bought it only to find out it wasn't. Here is what I am getting about the NFL Sunday Ticket, you can use it with the Fire Stick ONLY if you are in an area where directv is not available. Now that is where I get confused since DirecTv is a satellite service and sat coverage is anywhere you have line of sight to the sky. For your own benefit I would say this is a situation where you might be best off to avoid it. Even if you test this device on a phone and it works I have personally seen where the provider will block it on an android device which is basically what the fire is. I believe the Roku stick might get you what you are looking for. Not a roku fan but bought the stick because I needed one app in particular. Stick is comparable in price. If you are wondering, I believe the proprietary software ensures Roku users can not rip media off a stream upload online where on android anything is possible :/.
