• Yes. You have to go to applications on your tv and under developer applications choose allow downloads from unknown sources.

• Hi Kenarmy, the Fire TV stick HD is able to stream from other internet sites beyond the preinstalled apps by using a web browser like Amazon’s Silk browser to visit and play video directly from websites, or by installing supported apps from the Appstore when available. Hope this helps!
