That is not a problem but if you have a fire tv you shouldn't need the stick just go to your tv and download the apps but if you're still having problems just go head and buy the stick

Hi Brenda! The Fire TV Stick HD will work with any TV that has an available HDMI port for it to connect to. You'll need a WiFi connection as well in order to access streaming content. You can even use it with a Fire TV, you'll just need to change your TV over to the input that you installed the Fire TV Stick HD on.
