• YES, the Volume, Mute and Power buttons work for the tv it's connected to. In the set up it will ask you what make/model the the Fire TV Stick connected to, so it will know how to control the volume and other functions.

• The Firestick they have for the 4k sets, and will work on normal HD sets, has the on off and volume control. The cheaper firestick does not.

• No, I do not think any FireStick can control volume. Check in with your GeekSquad. Joshua is great.
