• If u have cable or satellite subscription you don't need to purchase any additional cable boxes fire stick through their apps will let you watch the channel with your cable subscriptions

• Firestick doesnt work like a chromecast does. You can cast from ios and android to a xhromecast but firesticks are streaming via apps you download through it.
