No. Your tv has to have the Bluetooth technology. You will need to connect to your tv or home theater devices.

No, the device catches the wireless signal in your home and uses HDMI to send it to the TV, no separate sound broadcast

Not that I'm aware of. It connects to your tv through hdmi. From your tv you can connect it to an optical audio interface to connect to Bluetooth

It does have Bluetooth capability for headsets. I haven't used it yet
