So usually you get 3 months free with kindle unlimited if it’s your first time subscribing. After that it’s $11.99 a month and the books you get for free are going to be the only ones under the kindle unlimited membership

Alternatively, you can purchase books on a per want basis through the kindle store. Unfortunately, the Kindle doesn't support Audio books as it doesn't have speakers. Hope this helps!
