• No but you can remove the ads later for 20 dollars from Amazon

• Mine has ads… they are irritating but I can swipe them away in a second. They appear each time I open the kindle. I don’t know if they are available without ads… initially I would have paid more for one without, BUT the ads are so easy to dismiss… I might not want to spend money on that option
