QuestionCase functionPowered off the HDX using the power button. Opened the case and HDX turned on as if it had been in sleep mode. Defective case or HDX?

- Answer The cases that are specifically made for the Fire HDX will cause it to go to sleep when you close the cover. So basically the Fire is on all of the time. I have a Fire HDX also but have a case that is not necessarily for the HDX and it does not make it go to sleep when I close it. I have to touch the on/off button and manually put it to sleep.
