• Yes, if the wifi goes out you will be able to control it with the power button on the outlet or use the switch. I recommend using the button on the outlet because that waynyou know the light itself is on and won't have to realize when wifi comes back on that you need to turn the light switch back to on and it's not a problem with the outlet or wifi.
