In my experience- yes! My router is set up in the back corner of the house in a bedroom. With my old router, we sometimes couldn't even get a signal in the livingroom (home is about 2300+ sq ft). I have a brick home as well as double paned windows. With this router I can now receive signal even when across the street! I'm very pleased with the range of this router.
