I bought this Andis wall mounted hair dryer from Best Buy about four months ago, and I'm quite pleased with it. It of course comes with a conventional electric plug. I don't know why anyone would wish to hard wire it. If a user really would like to hard wire it, I would definitely recommend asking that question of the manufacturer; to attempt to hard wire it may void the manufacturer's warranty, and actually may not be safe.
