Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about a 6 year old level of understanding with a game like this (it has been a while). There is a lot of social parts that can be used but not necessary. It is a CLEAN game no fighting arguing policed by ACNH well if you use the social aspects. There is gathering and building if a lot of items. There is design and organize skills and maybe skill building which is good. Some of the things you can do are rather complex. Not really organized quests to do more stuff to figure out on your own. Look up some you tube videos to see. OMGCEO does twitch feeds of her building islands and does social meet within her islands. Look up info on web ACNH.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It'd be a solid choice for someone of any age. It's cute, easy to play, lighthearted and technically endless in how much you can play it as it uses real time to dictate the flow of events and 'story' progression as the player builds their island up atop season changes and a plethora of small tasks to do and things to collect. There is a wide variety of things to do so anyone can find the thing that seems the most fun to them and really do it as much as they want (as an example archeology is a limited resource but bugs and fish are endless). And there is an educational aspect to the museum curation in the form of funny mini lessons about the captured fish, bugs, fossils, and art the player brings them. Any online interactions can be turned off and are simply a nice addition for those wanting to exchange and socialize.
