What is the difference between getting a physical and digital version of this game? I am planning to get a switch lite and this game, but the physical version is sold out, what does it mean by digital? null

A digital version will require an internet connection so it can be downloaded onto your Switch the first time you play. It's linked to your Nintendo account so if you loose/break your Switch you can always re-download it later. There is no physical case/game when buying digitally and if you get tired of the game it's impossible to sell a digital copy. I hope that helps!

While the game can be played with the same experience through a digital download or a physical game, I have listed a few reasons below on why I only buy physical games.

- Nintendo reserves the right to take a digital download off the marketplace at any time (meaning that you might not be able to re download the game if your Switch is lost or damaged).
- Cannot trade/lend digital games with friends. The game is only available on your account.
