Having recently purchased this power bank, I have exactly the same question. I apologize for not being able to directly respond to your question. My plan is to call Anker Customer Service. I am a big fan of Anker not only because of the quality of their products but because of their excellent customer service. Whenever I've had a question in the past or on the extremely rare occasion when I had a problem with a purchase, Anker's customer service was second to none. I just haven't made the time to call just yet. Good luck!
