“Is it ok to leave a USB-C cable plugged into the Anker when it’s not connected to another device? I want to reduce daily wear and possible loosening of the USB port that could result with daily plugging and unplugging of the cable.”

I leave my USB charging cable plugged in like a cat tail all the time. Fold it over and be careful that it isn't crushed when leaving it in a computer bag.
