• I CHARGED MINE OVERNIGHT AND THEN SOME....10 TO 12 HRS,BUT IT FULLEY CHARGED AND WORKS GREAT.

• Mine charged in few hours. If you're having trouble charging it could be the brick you're using as I'm sure you're aware they are not all the same

• First charge on any new device should take hours. It's important for any battery device to get a full initial charge. Electricity is unstable by nature and there is chances that any new battery will not work at all. Charge it full (regardless of how long it takes) and use it afterwards to see if it holds charge as the maker states in their instruction page(s).
